Welcome.
Addiction comes in many forms. Drugs, alcohol, sex, gaming, etc, can all become traps that are difficult to escape. Today’s world presents us with difficult challenges, and it’s only natural to seek release from the stress and pressure of everyday life. For some of us, though, life’s demands can feel so overwhelming that we begin to crave more and more relief. So much more, that we start to lose sight of what we really want out of life, and start caring more about satisfying our “needs” than spending time with the people we love. .
"You have to believe. Otherwise, it will never happen" - Neil Gaiman.
At some point it’s no longer a relief, and tears away your peace of mind. No matter how much you use or how many different things you try, there is no lasting escape. When you feel that happening to you, it’s time to do the hardest and most rewarding thing you can do—ask for help.
Entering therapy is not an easy choice, but it’s a big step toward living a clean, clear, and connected life.
